We know finals can be stressful and knowing physical activity and exercise can increase academic performance, we are offering FREE PAC Sampler Classes & Workshops during finals week! Come try out a new activity, work through the stress of final weeks, and have a little fun.
This option is open to all students, including those not currently taking a PAC.

Dance improvisation is the process of spontaneously creating movement. This class will focus on improvisation exercises to develop creative problem solving skills and activities for ecstatic dance, which allows dancers to move freely as the music inspires them. Additionally, the class will include partner improvisation, including contact improvisation exercises, for team building and development of improvisational partnering skills.

Country Western partner and line dance event. Lesson at 8:30pm. Open Dance from 7:45-11:00pm
Students need to have taken a Level I dance course (Ballroom I, Salsa I, Country I, etc) or have prior dance experience.

Principles and practice of vinyasa flow combined with strength training and cardio to increase lean muscle and build stamina. No experience required, all levels are welcome.
Examine the application of building simple awareness, how to manage thoughts in productive and compassionate ways, and how to transfer these skills into healthy relationships. Explore strategies for managing mental and physical difficulties including anxiety, pain, and overall stress through experiential learning and personal sharing of experiences.
Emphasizes gentle movement, supported postures, and longer holds. Experiments with a variety of contemplative practices with the purpose of encouraging personal inquiry and awareness.

Introduction to techniques that promote relaxation of the nervous system. These may include, but are not limited to: meditation, imagery, yoga postures, and self-massage. Students will be encouraged to reflect on how life choices influence their nervous system.
