Students will learn the fundamentals of alpine mountaineering, including efficient snow climbing techniques, safe anchoring, belaying and rappelling techniques, snow camping/living skills, and wilderness ethics.  Specifically, upon completion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate the following skills.
