Kinesiology - General, BS

Oregon State Baseball

What inspired or interested you about your field of study? And why did you choose OSU/the college?

I chose OSU because as soon as I stepped foot on campus the atmosphere felt like home. I chose kinesiology because of how my journey with athletic trainers and physical therapists helped me get back to being active. I chose to add a business administration major and a sports management minor because of how I thrive in a competitive atmosphere and I want that energy around me always.

What are you working on in your internship?

I am working in player development and data analytics. My current project outlines how exit angle and velocity can correlate with player productivity.

What do you see as the greatest value of your internship?

I have gained so much knowledge about the game of baseball and an amazing network of people within this role.

What are your post-college dreams?

After graduating I plan on working in professional baseball as a player development coach or in baseball operations.

What do you think of your experience at OSU? Any stand-out experiences?

I have really enjoyed my time here at Oregon State. My work with Oregon State Baseball has been the most meaningful time spent during my time here.
