Orientation

The Kinesiology Experiential Learning Internship Orientation presents a brief introduction and orientation to completing the experiential learning credit requirements for your degree in kinesiology.

Specific internship objectives include

• Demonstrate skills in written and verbal communication with participants and supervisor.
• Practice career and self-development skills over the term through reflection.
• Synthesize a list of resume-worthy workplace activities performed.
• Write career-related goals specific to internship to achieve within the term.

Prerequisites for enrollment in KIN 493: Kinesiology Internship

• Major in Kinesiology

• Completion of KIN 293: Get Hired in Kinesiology

• Department internship supervisor’s approval of internship placement

• KIN 493 application complete and submitted (placement secured) by 5 p.m. on Friday of Week 8 - the term prior to beginning internship.
