GTA Appointments and Annual Evaluation
Annual evaluation
Graduate Assistant evaluations are conducted to support professional development and ensure alignment with position expectations.
Graduate Assistants will receive a written evaluation from their supervisor or a designated faculty member within one month of the evaluation, consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), unless extenuating circumstances apply.
Evaluations are completed and documented through the College of Health’s Ideal-Logic system and include an opportunity for discussion between the Graduate Assistant and evaluator prior to finalization.
Both the Graduate Assistant and the supervisor (or another faculty member designated by the employing unit) must sign the evaluation to be placed in the personnel file, in accordance with CBA provisions.
