Creating memorable events

We understand that hosting an event, whether it’s big or small, takes a lot of work. Please complete the project request form and our team can assist you with promoting your event and providing the appropriate resources.

Where you can advertise events

•  COH digital signage (please complete a project request form),
•  Submit an event to the OSU event calendar. Make sure to select College of Health from the organizations drop down in the submission form.
• OSU Today
• Social media when appropriate
• Email listservs

Other event services we offer include designing fliers and providing you with tablecloths, brochures, banners, photography (when resources allow) and more. We also have college promotional items available.

How to promote events

• Submit a project request and ask for social media, digital signage and an online calendar listing.
  • You can also request an invitation, program or flier and/or PowerPoint slide for faculty to use in class.
  • Download a PPT template to get started. 
• Ask school heads to include it as an announcement at an upcoming faculty meeting.
• For events, lectures, workshops, activities and anything happening on a specific date, submit directly through the main OSU calendar.

  • Select College of Health from the organizations drop down in the submission form.

• Reach out directly to research center directors.
• Ask the Office of Student Success to share it via the undergraduate listserv.
• Distribute to COH graduate student listserv.

For planning assistance with larger events, such as conferences, you may choose to also partner with OSU Conference Services.

Media Services

Academic Technologies Media Services can help with hybrid events (i.e. Zoom webinars).
