Marie Harvey, DrPH, MPH

Associate Dean for Research
Distinguished Professor of Public Health

Marie provides leadership, direction and administrative oversight for all matters related to research in the College. She ensures the availability of opportunities and infrastructure to maximize the research potential of faculty and students, and promotes faculty collaborative efforts with other Colleges, OSU administrators, and external organizations to enhance interdisciplinary research and visibility of the College. She represents the College on numerous University committees including the Associate Deans’ Advisory Council to the Vice President for Research and the OSU Undergraduate Research Working Group. Gretchen Dursch, MA

Research Program Coordinator

Gretchen serves as a key team member in the College Research Office assisting with the management, delivery and assessment of initiatives, events and projects to support faculty development and grow the research portfolio of the College. This includes the Research Seminars, Ignite Colloquia, Weekly Funding Opportunity Announcements and the Undergraduate Research Program. She brings to us over 25 years of experience coordinating and managing programs for non-profits and public institutions, most recently as the Project Coordinator for the WAVE – Ripples for Change research project here at CPHHS. Catherine J. Clevinger, BA, CRA

Grants/Contracts Coordinator

C.J. facilitates the development and submission of externally sponsored proposals for College faculty, post docs and graduate students who submit sponsored grant and contract proposals. Her role includes working collaboratively with internal and external teams and offices. A Certified Research Administrator with over 16 years of experience, CJ has worked at Oregon State University since 2012 and previously in the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration at the University of Louisville. She is also nearing completing of a MPH degree here in our College. Staff profile.

Ian Goldberg, MBA

Director of Post Award Research

Ian provides support to faculty and staff with administration of research after it has been awarded. He provides assistance in interpreting and adhering to the policies, terms and conditions required by sponsoring agencies. Primary Investigators that want assistance in satisfying requests from outside agencies, OSRAA or the HSBC should reach out to him. Ian is also the secondary point of contact for faculty requesting assistance with proposal preparation. He has over 12 years of experience in higher education research administration, including positions at the University of Oregon, and the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Staff profile.
