PROJECT HORNET:
Health Opinions Regarding New and Emerging Tobacco STUDY

Principal Investigator: Dr. Kari-Lyn Sakuma

The purpose of this research study is to understand what African American teens and young adults think and feel about new and emerging tobacco products (like certain brands of cigarillos, little cigars, e-cigs or vapes, etc.) and how they may have first learned about them.

To participate in this research, you must:

  • Be African American
  • Be between 14 and 26 years old
  • Currently use tobacco products or have used tobacco products in the past

Participation involves:

  • A one-time, 20-minute, online survey
  • Participants will receive either a Cold Stone Creamery gift card or an Oregon State University t-shirt
