Early Learning Research

A major purpose of the Early Learner website is to ease access to data and research on Oregon young children and families for policy makers, practitioners, and other researchers. The Early Learner site accepts all research and related documents without judging the quality of their design, methods, findings, and content.  Luckily, a national resource, Early Care and Education Research Connections has a resource that will aid the user in evaluating research, including the documents found at Assessing Research Quality.

Early Learner site users will also be able to access research resources in addition to those found on this site by going to Child Care and Early Education Research Connections and putting “Oregon” in the search box.

Research on this site is organized by the most frequently used topical areas.
