Student Conference Travel Scholarship

The College of Health recognizes the importance of academic and professional development through participation in virtual and/or in-person conferences. To support our students in attending such conferences, the college provides funds to assist students in covering partial costs associated with conference attendance.

The application must be submitted by the deadline and approved before the conference travel. This opportunity is only for a conference occurring next term; approval will not be granted retroactively after a conference.

Application deadlines are across the academic year. Unfortunately, funds are limited and not all applications will receive financial support.

The range in amount for a scholarship is from $250-$1,000, depending on the conference attended, and can only be used on allowable expenses. A student is allowed to receive only one conference travel award per academic year (summer through spring). The award amount will be deposited into the recipient's student account. The award amount will first be applied toward any outstanding balance.

The completeness and quality of applications and the merits of the conference experience will be considered. Preference will be given to students with higher financial need.
