Oregon State University’s one-of-a-kind Faculty Staff Fitness program makes working out fun – and convenient – for everyone.
PAC: Physical Activity Courses
The Physical Activity Course Program provides all students with the knowledge and experience to make informed decisions for physically active lifestyles.
HHS 231: Lifetime Fitness for Health
HHS 231 facilitates the development of positive health behaviors in physical activity and nutrition.
KidSpirit
KidSpirit promotes positive interactions with adults and peers, sustained and active participation across time, and opportunities to make meaningful contributions to the world around them.
Academic and Recreational Dive Center
The OSU Academic and Recreational Dive Center exists to certify and train those that wish to pursue Scuba diving both in a professional and recreational capacity and provide the resources and tools to practice scuba diving.
Adaptive Exercise Clinic
The Adaptive Exercise Clinic is a space created for adults with conditions such as multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Parkinson’s and other disabilities to come together and be active.
Professional Certifications
The Office of Physical Activity and Health Programs offers several professional certifications including CPR/AED & First Aid, PADI SCUBA, Wilderness First Aid, and Yoga Teaching.

PAC instructor Bob Janes coordinated a $5,000 golf ball donation from Trysting Tree Golf Club, adding valuable equipment to OSU's physical activity golf classes.
Three OSU Dance Sport couples were named national champions at USA Dance's Collegiate Nationals, with many competitors getting their start in PAC courses.
Four OSU PAC ballet students performed a piece choreographed by instructor Megan Skinner at the Terpsichore Dance Concert at Corvallis' Majestic Theatre in April.
Lila Reid facilitated the Winter 2026 PAC Dance Showcase, drawing hundreds of OSU students to an evening of dance and community celebration.
