You are invited to join researchers, policy makers, and practitioners for two mornings of learning about emerging research findings and engaging in small group discussions around understanding and supporting the Oregon child care and education system.

Day 1 - Oct 13

Family & Provider Perspectives on Accessing Child Care: Consequences of COVID-19.

  • Speakers include: Megan Pratt (OSU) and Phil Fisher (UO)
  • Discussant: David Mandell (Early Learning Division)
  • Moderated small group discussions to follow
  • Day 1 will conclude with a large group discussion

Using Professional Development to Meet Diverse Needs, Strengths, & Priorities of Children and Providers.

  • Speakers include: Shannon Lipscomb (OSU), Lorelei Mitchell (PSU), Lupe Campos (Latino Network), and Meera Batra (Neighborhood House)
  • Discussant: Practitioner Perspective (Gisela Morales, Quality Improvement Specialist)
  • Moderated small group discussions to follow
  • Day 2 will conclude with a large group discussion
