Gisela Morales describes how she supports child care providers as a bilingual Infant and Toddler Quality Improvement Specialist. In this presentation, Gisela describes her position and how she supports child care providers in a variety of ways, such as supporting goal-setting and professional development, navigating state requirements, and providing translation and technology supports. Through two stories she describes how she tailors supports to meet a provider’s unique needs, while building trust and empowering them to advocate for themselves.
