Faculty profile
Dr. Logan earned BA (Psychology) and MS (Exercise Sciences) degrees from the University of Delaware. He earned a PhD (Kinesiology) from Auburn University under the direction of Dr. Leah Robinson. Before joining OSU in 2014, he completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Delaware in the Department of Physical Therapy under the direction of Dr. Cole Galloway.
His research agenda focuses on the health and well-being of typically developing children and children with disabilities, with recent work emphasizing the role of independent mobility in the development of language, cognition, play interactions, and motor behaviors of children diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down syndrome, and other significant physical and cognitive diagnoses. His research is interdisciplinary in nature, bridging the fields of Kinesiology, Psychology and Pediatric Rehabilitation.

Michele Catena, DPT, PT
PhD Candidate
Michele earned a BS degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University. She earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She has been a licensed and practicing pediatric physical therapist since 2012. She is a PhD Candidate within the Kinesiology program (Adapted Physical Activity option) at OSU.
Bethany Sloane, DPT, PT
PhD Student
Bethany earned a BS degree in Psychology from Bethany College. She earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from the Wheeling Jesuit University. She has been a licensed and practicing pediatric physical therapist since 2009. She is a PhD Student within the Kinesiology program (Adapted Physical Activity option) at OSU.
Joseline Raja Vora

Joseline earned a Master’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Connecticut. She is a PhD student within the Kinesiology program (Adapted Physical Activity option) at OSU.
Tze-Hsuan (Wanda) Wang
PhD Student
Tze-Hsuan earned a BS degree in Physical Therapy from National Yang-Ming University. She earned a MSc in Physical Therapy degree from National Taiwan University. She has been a licensed and practicing pediatric physical therapist since 2006. She is a PhD Student within the Kinesiology program (Adapted Physical Activity option) at OSU.

Laynie Case, PhD
Laynie earned a PhD in Kinesiology (Adapted Physical Activity Option) from OSU in 2021. She is currently a post-doctoral scholar at the University of South Carolina working with Ali Brian, PhD in the area of motor competence and intervention.
Chun-Wei Chang, OT, MS
Chun-Wei graduated from OSU with an MS in Kinesiology (Adapted Physical Activity, 2019). She is a practicing occupational therapist in Taiwan and is interested in pursuing PhD studies in the near future.
Christina Hospodar, MS
Originally from Connecticut, Christina earned a BS degree in Health and Exercise Science and Spanish from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Christina graduated from OSU with an MS in Kinesiology (Adapted Physical Activity, 2018). She is currently a PhD student in the developmental psychology program at New York University under the direction of Dr. Karen Adolph.
Samantha Ross, PhD
Dr. Ross earned a BS degree in Human Physiology and Psychology from the University of Oregon and an MS degree in Exercise and Sport Science from OSU under the direction of Dr. Megan MacDonald. She graduated from OSU with an MPH (Epidemiology, 2018) and PhD in Kinesiology (Adapted Physical Activity, 2019). She is currently an assistant professor within the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences at West Virginia University.
