Why did you choose OSU for your Public Health graduate degree?

I went to OSU for my undergraduate degree and learned what the campus has to offer, such as campus resources, community events and the surrounding nature. I decided to return for my graduate degree because OSU has a great reputation for research and I love Oregon!

What is your favorite course you have taken so far?

Epi Methods 1.

Most memorable experience in the program?

Meeting everyone from different disciplines and finding that we share many interests.

What advice would you give someone thinking about getting a graduate degree in Public Health?

Do your research! See what topics and careers interest you the most and ask yourself how a degree in Public Health could help you get there. Also make sure to ask yourself if you are ready for the workload and time commitment required for graduate school.

If you were to recommend the MPH to a close friend, what would you say?

The faculty and staff are extremely welcoming, supportive, and inform you about opportunities to network and advance your skills to prepare you as a professional.
