YouthMappers

Oregon State University

YouthMappers is an international community of dedicated students and higher-education scholars that addresses global obstacles to societal development, environmental health and worldwide well-being through building awareness and knowledge using public geospatial technologies.

Here at Oregon State University, we are the local YouthMappers chapter – one piece of the larger organization. We strive to build a network of students and faculty members contributing to the greater, international mission by utilizing OpenStreetMapping to tackle such issues as disaster preparedness, pedestrian safety and other global, national and local priorities.

YouthMappers is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty, both remote and in-person.
