Mission
Develop a community of passionate individuals to build and enhance the world around them and beyond through public mapping technologies.
Our mission in the Oregon State University chapter is to introduce and explore local, national, and international issues of interest and investigate different approaches to addressing them.
Goals
- Make a positive impact on local, national and international communities.
- Identify, explore, investigate and act on topics of interest.
- Learn and apply mapping skills.
- Introduce students to undergraduate and graduate research opportunities outside of the organization.

Hi, I am Ian I am a four year Geography and Geospatial Science major with the GIS Certificate. I love doing work with GIS software and plan on it being my career. I am from Eugene and I also watch at lot of internet horror as a hobby.

Annabelle Owyoung

Hello all! I’m Annabelle, the YouthMappers at OSU Treasurer. I am a third-year environmental science major with an applied ecology option and a GIS certification who hopes to make a positive impact on the world. I have visited five of the seven continents, and I have a deep interest in exploring more about the role of remote sensing to improve livelihoods internationally.

Margot Pullen
Outreach Coordinator
Hi! I'm Margot and I'm the Outreach Coordinator for YouthMappers. I'm a second-year Public Policy major with a history minor, and I'm from Portland, Oregon. I am particularly interested in transportation and health policy. In the future, I hope to continue my studies and get a graduate degree in either Public Policy or Urban Planning and eventually work in local government in some capacity. In my free time, I play trumpet, flute and piano, and I’m an avid digital artist.

Hi! My name is Tias, and I am a second-year climate science major with a minor in mathematics. I’m originally from Juneau, Alaska, and I have some GIS experience. A fun fact about me is that I’ve been to 12 of 13 Canadian provinces.
