Why did you choose Oregon State for your MPH?

I chose OSU because of the variety of professors who are accomplished in their field and they are people who want to see their students thrive. The environment and campus are also beautiful!

What is your favorite course taken in the MPH so far?

I am a first year so have only taken one course so I will be bias in saying H 513, but it has been a fun class so far and I am glad that I am able to get closer to my cohort!

Most memorable experience in the program?

My most memorable experience so far has been hiking on the coast! The Oregon coast is so beautiful and campus is only an hour away!

What advice would you give someone thinking about getting their MPH?

An MPH is an eye-opening experience that will change your way of thinking. It might feel unfamiliar because many topics discussed in class are not something you may know about and it's not something you can memorize. Take it one step at a time and don't overwhelm yourself!

If you were to recommend the MPH to your best friend, what would you say?

An MPH broadens your mind and helps you look at the world from a different perspective, you start to recognize the issues in communities or environments. Definitely get an MPH if you are trying to learn about how to be a more holistic person!
