May 1st -2nd (in-person) and May 1st-4th (virtual)
The 2023 Parenting Educators Conference is a multi-day, hybrid event held on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, OR. This conference will offer English and Spanish workshops to participants as well as offer live Spanish interpretation of keynote addresses. In-person attendees will enjoy 2 full days of conference events while those preferring to attend virtually will have 4 half days of programming offered.
The goal for this conference is to bring together professionals who work with families for educational and networking opportunities. Information and current research will be shared, along with practical application strategies that can be used to improve services to families. This year’s conference, TOWARDS WHAT WE CAN BECOME: Centering Growth, Resilience & Intentional Impact in the Field of Parenting Education, will inspire participants to grow their own professional practices through a variety of keynote and workshop presentations.
OPEC aims to create a space that is welcoming and inclusive, where all people are valued for their identities, including for their gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, abilities, and lived experiences.
