Dr. Molly Kile is an environmental epidemiologist who investigates how early-life exposure to chemical contaminants shapes children’s long-term health and development. She integrates exposure science and biomonitoring to assess how complex chemical mixtures impact critical life stages and designs population-based studies to evaluate their effect on health. Her research also examines how genetic, epigenetic, microbial, and social factors interact to influence a person’s susceptibility to environmental exposures.

Her work bridges science and practice by translating exposure and health data into risk assessments, interventions, and policies that reduce harmful exposures and promote environmental health equity. Nationally recognized for her expertise in community-engaged research, she builds durable university–community partnerships that emphasize ethical collaboration, resilience and meaningful public impact.
