Marine plastic pollution communication study

Studying the most effective modes of marine science communication on plastic pollution in the oceans.

Thank you for your interest in our study, looking at how to best communicate information about marine plastic pollution.

We conducted two surveys, asking members of the public to examine which modes of science communication are most effective in communicating the marine plastic pollution problem.

This research was conducted by Simone Burton, an undergraduate Honors College student. Her study informed the creation of a COVID-19 specific product targeting increased plastic use in the COVID-19 pandemic. This product can be used freely, with attribution to Simone Burton.
