We are committed to increasing access to an OSU education, especially for those who are the first in their families to attend college, who make up one in four of our students. By supporting current-use or endowed scholarships, you can help level the playing field and allow students to begin their careers without overwhelming debt.

You also can be the reason students pursue hands-on experiences such as internships, which help them thrive and graduate. Unfortunately, many need to overcome financial barriers in order to pursue these outstanding learning opportunities.

Scholarships and fellowships not only help our students persist in their studies but also can help attract prospective students with the greatest potential to impact health and well-being. Graduate fellowships are essential in supporting exceptionally motivated students, who help power our research engine and shape the experience of undergraduate learners.

Hands-on learning (experiential learning)

Internships, practicums, study abroad, research, fieldwork and clinical experiences offer unique opportunities for students to put theory into action. Because many are unpaid, and some require additional expenses such as travel costs, your support can make these life-changing experiences possible.

Advising and mentoring

Advisors and mentors guide students throughout their education. By developing innovative advising models and providing resources for excellence in advising, we can ensure both undergraduate and graduate students have the personalized support they need to achieve their goals and prepare for impactful careers.
