Biography
Roberta “Bobbie” Weber, PhD is a Faculty Research Associate in the Family Policy Program, Hallie Ford Center, part of the College of Health at Oregon State University. Dr. Weber received a Masters in Child Development from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from Oregon State University.
Dr. Weber’s focus is policy-relevant research about young children and their parents. Her research includes studies of subsidy policy impact, parental child care decision making; child care stability, child care supply and demand; and market rate survey methodology.
A founding member of the national Child Care Policy Research Consortium, much of her work involves the interface of policy, practice, and research.
