"The Present and Future of Stress Research in the South Korean Army"

Yongju Kim, PhD, is a Professor of Psychology and Management at the Korea Military Academy in Seoul, South Korea. He holds a doctorate in Psychology from Justus-Liebig University Giessen, Germany and a MA and BA in Psychology from Seoul National University in South Korea.

His research interests include leadership development and evaluation, military psychology (including stress, military values and Esprit de corps) and military wellbeing. His current research examines mental health and suicide among of the South Korean military, including the effect of combat exposure.
