Dense breast and interval breast cancer: feedback on educational materials

In this project, our team created health education and messaging around interval breast cancer and we plan to test with focus groups.

This focus group aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses of informational materials about interval breast cancer and dense breast tissue.

Focus groups could be held in-person in Corvallis or via Zoom and will last 60-90 minutes.

Participants will be shown sample informational materials about interval breast cancer and dense breast tissue and asked questions about the visual and textual material.

All participants will receive a $20 gift card upon completion.

Eligibility to participate

• Over the age of 40
• Have had at least 1 mammogram
• Have never been diagnosed with breast cancer

We have 3 focus groups planned

• Wednesday February 25, 6:30-8 p.m.
• Thursday February 26, 6:30-8 p.m.
• Wednesday March 4, 6:30-8 p.m.
• Thursday March 5, 6:30-8 p.m.
