College recognizes outstanding faculty with promotion, tenure

The following College of Health faculty members received promotion and/or tenure effective July 1, 2026. These achievements reflect their outstanding contributions to teaching, research, service and leadership at Oregon State University and beyond.

• Barbara Brody — promoted to Professor of Practice of Nutrition and Public Health
• Sarah Brown — promoted to Senior Instructor I (PAC) of Exercise, Sport, and Health Sciences
• David Dallas — promoted to Professor of Nutrition and Public Health
• Jill Hoxmeier — promoted to Senior Instructor I of Nutrition and Public Health
• Sean Newsom — promoted to Professor of Exercise, Sport, and Health Sciences
• Andy Pitchford — promoted to Associate Professor of Exercise, Sport, and Health Sciences and granted indefinite tenure
• David Rothwell — promoted to Professor of Human Development and Family Sciences
• Ashley Vaughn — promoted to Senior Instructor I of Nutrition and Public Health
