Alum Dakota Witzel named 2026 Outstanding Researcher at South Dakota State

Dakota Witzel, a 2022 PhD graduate in human development and family sciences, was named the 2026 Outstanding Researcher by South Dakota State University’s College of Education and Human Sciences. She is an assistant professor in the School of Education, Counseling and Human Development.

The award recognizes Dakota's contributions to research within the college and highlights the impact of her scholarly work.
