OSU is the first Oregon university to earn the Total Worker Health® designation
Oregon State University is now officially a Total Worker Health® (TWH) affiliate — the first university in Oregon to earn this designation. This recognition, made possible through a collaboration with the College of Health, University Human Resources, Environmental Health & Safety, and Student Health Services, underscores OSU’s commitment to strengthening collaboration across safety, health, and well-being programs. By reducing silos and coordinating efforts, we are better able to enhance employee safety, support well-being, and promote a workplace where all employees can thrive.
Becoming a TWH affiliate naturally aligns with OSU’s goal of becoming a Health Promoting University (HPU). Together, these efforts foster a culture that improves employee engagement and presence, reduces absenteeism, and supports a community that benefits both employees and students.
