Center for Global Health partners with Mahalapye District Council, Botswana

The COH’s Center for Global Health and the Mahalapye District Council (MDC) in Botswana have signed a new Letter of Collaboration to strengthen partnerships in teaching, research and community development. The agreement establishes a five-year framework for cooperation focused on initiatives that promote sustainable community engagement and development through collaboration between local governance structures and academic expertise in community health development and empowerment.

“I’m grateful for this collaboration, which further strengthens our work in Botswana and advances our mission of translating strong research into real-world practice and policy,” says CGH Director Sunil Khanna, the Robert and Sara Rothschild Endowed Chair in Global Health.
