PhD student earns top abstract and fellowship at APHA 2025

Maddie Kasimanickam, a public health-global health PhD student, achieved two honors at the 2025 APHA meeting in Washington, D.C. 

She was named a 2026 Food & Nutrition Fellow, an award for outstanding students and early-career professionals, and one of her three presentations earned top abstract recognition. 

These achievements underscore her leadership and research excellence in public health nutrition.
