Aurae Beidler honored for leadership on AHIMA Board of Directors
Assistant Professor of Teaching and Healthcare Administration program director Aurae Beidler will receive an award for her service on the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Board of Directors. Aurae will receive the award at the AHIMA annual conference.
As a third year director on the AHIMA Board of Directors, she will participate in the board of directors meeting, the annual House of Delegates meeting and the AHIMA25 Conference October 12-14.

As a health information professional, Aurae brings expertise in data governance and management, policy, AI ethical frameworks and data integrity to her work at Oregon State University.
Her background and experience in the healthcare industry will guide the launch of the new online Healthcare Administration undergraduate degree that is focused on innovation, leadership and addressing issues with data-informed decision-making.
Her experience leading an international professional association provides her with a unique perspective and skillset focused on improving healthcare through innovation and thought leadership.
