Recent alumnus wins Environmental Protection Agency award
Environmental and Occupational Health MPH alumnus Bruce Franz '23 received an award at the 2023 annual Pacific Ecological Systems Division award ceremony for his work to make ground water monitoring more accessible to stakeholders. Congratulations Bruce!
In Summer 2022, Bruce completed an internship with the US Environmental Protection Agency, Pacific Ecological Systems Division. In the internship, he developed a R Shiny tool to support groundwater management programs for DEQ. The tool lead to a web page for assessments and data sharing, making ground water monitoring more accessible to stakeholders.
