Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Leslie moved to Oregon in 2011 to get her Master's degree in math. She currently teaches mathematics at Chemeketa Community College, but on the side, she teaches Karate and Self Defense at OSU! Leslie has a 2nd degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and has been training in that style since 1999. She also practices jiu jitsu, and does weightlifting and running.
