Ines's broad research interests include inequality, families, and social policy. Currently, She is examining financial outcomes for families that access paid parental leave. She is also interested in childcare policies and have been involved in projects targeting child care issues such as the Oregon Child Care Research Partnership and Focused Child Care Networks.
