Faye worked in local and state public health prior to her doctoral degree where she began to develop interests in how populations were exposed to multiple toxicants and the potential impacts on population health. Faye plans to research how mixtures of environmental exposures (both chemical and social) modulate the development of the immune system, particularly for younger populations.
