Biography
David Phillips is an assistant professor in the kinesiology program at OSU-Cascades. He received a MS degree from Barry University in 2013 and a PhD from the University of Oregon in 2017. He was a faculty member at New Jersey’s second largest higher education institution, Montclair State University, for five years and joined OSU-Cascades in Fall 2022.
Dr Phillips’ research focuses on neuromuscular coordination patterns, proprioception and virtual reality applications to human performance, successful aging and injury prevention. He is an avid instructor with an active learning pedagogical approach. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
