Iriana Muñoz was accepted as a fellow of the 2024 Summer Institute in Anti-Racist and Decolonizing Research Methods at George Mason University. She was one of 25 selected out of nearly 150 applicants. The aim of this institute is "to use this week-long (in-person) workshop on anti-racist and decolonizing research to create space for Fellows to develop research tools to revolutionize social science inquiry." Ingrid Skoog, College of Health's director of online programs, was honored with an Ecampus Appreciation Award, in recognition of her partnership with Ecampus as the coordinator of online education for the College of Health.
Instructor Kim Rogers is the recipient of the 2024 Difference, Power and Oppression (DPO) Teaching Award. The DPO Program works with faculty across all fields and disciplines at Oregon State University to develop inclusive curricula that address institutionalized systems of power, privilege and inequity in the United States. Congratulations, Kim!

The Women's Sport Foundation released a report, "Thriving Through Sport: The Transformative Impact on Girls' Mental Health," led by Associate Professor Will Massey.

Louisa Ramirez Forney, a nutrition-dietetics student graduating this June, recently received the Oregon Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics 2024 Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award.
Hailey Zhou recently received the Oregon Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics 2024 Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Hailey is currently in Oregon State University's dietetic internship program.
Kathleen “Kae” McCarty, PhD ’22, is being recognized as a Changemaker by the OSUAA for the impact she’s made on her field. Kae is a first-generation college graduate and has an innate passion for disability justice and health equity.

These questions focus on the causes of uneven health care quality, cost, and access across different states, and explore potential solutions and strategies to address these disparities.
