Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this new cross-cultural, faculty-led study abroad program and get a firsthand understanding of critical health issues from a global perspective. All majors are welcome.

This multi-country educational program will begin at OSU with pre-departure preparation and orientation. We will then meet as a group in Taipei, Taiwan on the campus of Fu Jen University. Following four weeks of intensive classroom learning (NUTR 312e, H 333, HDFS 447) and opportunities for cultural immersion, the group will travel to Bangalore, India to engage in four weeks of first-hand community-based learning in partnership with SWASTI Health Catalyst, an organization that transforms the lives of marginalized communities by ensuring access to quality healthcare.


Program dates

September 9-December 11, 2020

  • September 9-17: Corvallis orientation, pre-trip preparation
  • September 18-22: Taiwan
  • October 23-November 23: India
