Study recruitment

Poverty and Inequality Research Group

Oregon State University and WIC need your help with an important research study!

Have you had a baby in the past two years and were working during your pregnancy?

Complete an interview telling us about your experiences as a mom and earn a $40 grocery store gift card.

Oregon State University and the Oregon WIC program are doing a study to understand how families manage personal and financial changes after they have a baby, especially if mothers leave work.

Time commitment

Interviews will last about one hour and will be conducted in English or Spanish by a researcher from Oregon State University or the State of Oregon WIC Program.

The research team will set up a time that’s convenient for you to do the interview online via Zoom.

During the interview you’ll be asked about your job, your family and the programs that can stretch your budget when you have a baby.
