We are inviting you to participate in a research study.
Are you a teacher in Washington Township Public Schools?
Have you participated in a DEIB training at work?
Join a one-time, virtual interview to share your thoughts about race and DEIB initiatives in your district.
Purpose
We are conducting this study to learn about how school districts and the people working within them are managing issues related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB).
This study has two parts:
- Part 1: We will conduct a district case study about a school district in New Jersey that is currently implementing a DEIB intervention.
- Part 2: We will conduct interviews with teachers who work in that district to learn how they think about their own racial identity development.
We are inviting you to participate in an interview for part 2 of this study.
Activities
The study activities include completing an eligibility and a brief demographic survey, and participating in a one-time recorded interview via Zoom. You may also have the opportunity to review findings from this study prior to publication to check for accuracy and resonance with your experiences.
Time
The eligibility and demographic survey is designed to take less than ten minutes to complete. The interview is expected to be approximately 60 minutes.
Payment
Participants will receive a $50 Visa gift card.
