Why did you choose OSU for your Public Health graduate degree?

I chose OSU because of its accelerated Master's program option (which I highly recommend applying to) as well as its supportive staff and friendly student population.

What is your favorite course you have taken so far?

HHS523 Public Health Impact because you get to learn with and interact with people outside your option and get a broader scope of knowledge on the basics of Public Health.

Most memorable experience in the program?

Meeting new friends and getting to work collaboratively with people more than I ever did in undergrad.

What advice would you give someone thinking about getting a graduate degree in Public Health?

Go for it! Public Health has a spot for you whether you know it or not, and it can be applied to many other fields of study too.

If you were to recommend the MPH to a close friend, what would you say?

Do it! The classroom sizes are smaller so you get to make more personal connections to the faculty and other students in your class. There are also a lot of opportunities to get involved outside of the classroom to foster your academic, professional, and personal goals.
