Hobbies, interests, etc
Thrifting, listening to music, volunteering, exploring new restaurants and exploring the Oregon landscape!
Why did you choose Oregon State for your MPH?
They had the perfect program for what I was interested in and they had a very well put together website that answered any and all questions I could have had in the beginning. Everyone was so supportive and willing to meet with me when I toured here. I immediately fell in love!
What is your favorite course taken in the MPH so far?
H 513 integrated approach to public health has been my favorite because it really laid the groundwork for all of the work I am going to be doing in the future
Most memorable experience in the program?
Meeting new friends and making lifelong connections.
What advice would you give someone thinking about getting their MPH?
Do it! I know it can seem daunting to enter a graduate program, but I highly recommend it for people who want to dive deeper into the world of public health.
If you were to recommend the MPH to your best friend, what would you say?
I know it may seem like a lot of work, but it will all be worth it in the end. You get to make connections with faculty and other friends who will soon be your colleagues and it's really great way to get a foot in the door.
