Zainab’s research interests focus on dissemination and implementation science specifically focused on HIV/AIDs. Zainab’s current research focuses on the implementation of an Oral Self Implemented HIV Test among Tanzanian youth using two different training strategies. She is also involved in a research project that is analyzing the diffusion of PrEP in African American men who-have-sex-with-men and how stigma and personal views regarding PrEP play a role in diffusion.
