Wei Zhang, MPH, MS, is a doctoral student of Health Management and Policy in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences at Oregon State University. Her research focuses on quality and utilization of health care services, reform and innovation in long-term care, and on applying advanced statistical methods to predict health outcomes. One of her ongoing research studies is to explore the relationship between providers’ social networks and utilization of patients with serious mental illness via medical claim data.
