Following a 40 year holistic and progressive teaching background to all ages 5-105 including special health-oriented populations, I am teaching Interdisciplinary Yoga for the Honors College. Classes are infused with body-centered experiential education to expand intuition, imagination, and inspiration integrating expressive arts, mindfulness practices, neuroscience, 21st Century Medicine, and Positive Psychology. M.Ed.Holistic Education: Antioch New England University; E-RYT 10,000 hrs (Yoga Alliance): Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health; RSMET (Registered Somatic Educator and Therapist) with ISMETA: International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association.
When not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible, biking, walking, swimming, exploring new natural wonders, reading, writing, making art, singing, dancing, making and listening to music, and building community.
