Biography

Sarah is originally from Santa Maria, Ca. She received her MFA in Dance, performance and choreography emphasis, from Mills College in Oakland, Ca. She holds her BA in Dance from Cal State, Fullerton. She has additional training in Limon technique as well as having studied at the Ailey School in NYC. She is also certified in “Progressing Ballet Technique.”Sarah has danced with Benita Bike’s DanceArt, Nebula Dance Lab,and Variable Velocity. Sarah is currently on faculty with Oregon State University, having previously been on faculty with California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Allan Hancock College, Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts (PCPA), and Mission College in California.Sarah is well versed in teaching dance courses that range from modern, ballet, jazz,and hip hop to performance skills and composition.
