Rebecca’s research interests focus on health and human rights. Previous research includes government efforts towards the prevention of human trafficking and protection for victims/survivors. Current research focuses on humanitarian crisis response for maternal and child health. She is collaborating with a Bangladesh-based NGO working with Rohingya refugees. Rebecca has been awarded the Graduate Fellowships for International Research which identifies and nurture leaders who overcome differences in nationality, language, ethnicity, religion, and political systems to tackle global issues.
