Academic interests: 

Primary areas of work target limited income Hispanic families. Program areas include: Foods and Nutrition and Food Safety (adult, youth and Hispanic volunteers); and Family Financial Manangement as it relates to Food Shopping. The Foods and Nutrition Program is part of two federally funded efforts; the Oregon Family Nutrition Program (OFNP) and the Expanded Foods and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP).

Personal Interests: 

I enjoy hiking, walking my dog, gardening and in general enjoying the wonderful natural resources found in Oregon.
