Physical Activity Course Program (PAC)

Coach KK" joined our PAC Program in 2013. She has her Masters of Science in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Oregon State University and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from University of Oregon. Katelyn is originally from Portland, Oregon and enjoys traveling and the outdoors. Her adventures have taken her to Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Canada, France, Germany, Sweden, Mexico, The Czech Republic, Costa Rica and all over the USA. Katelyn's other interests include: outdoor recreation, sports, scuba diving, biking, arts and creative writing, reading, gardening, ATV trail riding, car modification and restoration, cooking, etc. During the summer, Katelyn coaches and is a counselor for youth sports camps. Specifically, she helps coach the 12 and under section of "Hoop Camp," where abled and disabled children learn and play basketball together (http://hoop.camp/). She also serves as a board member for the American Society for the Positive Care of Children (http://www.americanspcc.org/).

Katelyn has played volleyball since the 3rd grade, including 4 years of Oregon 6A NCAA High School Varsity(Westview Wildcats), 6 years of CEVA Women's Club Volleyball (Suncats VB) and 3 years of NCVF Collegiate Division 1 Club (UofO Ducks). She hopes to be involved in the sport for her entire life. Katelyn also played basketball and ran track & field throughout high school. Due to her athletic involvement, Katelyn has a practical background in conditioning and training.
