Supporting self-compassion in students is one of my priorities. While earning my Ph.D. I explored the use of yoga and embodied self-compassion to support post-traumatic growth. I have experience teaching various populations, including at-risk youth, minorities, and seniors. In addition, I am a mental health counselor. I served in Peace Corps Bolivia and Peace Corps Response Malawi. I enjoy trail running, rock climbing, and spending time with my family.
